- The first part of the inscription (on the east and north walls) refers to the renovation of the building and contains the name and titles of the Ghurid ruler [Ghiyāth al-Dīn] Abū’l Fatḥ Muḥammad b. Sām. The second part (on the west and south walls) contains two Quranic verses (59:23-24), followed by an enumeration of divine names.
