الحمد لله على الاية و صلى على محمد حلفائه امر هذا بعماره المسجد المبارك فى ايام دولت
خان الاعظم محمد ازبك خلد الله ملكه العبد الضعيف المحتاج الراجى رحمت ربه و غفر انه عبد
العزيز ابن ابراهيم الاربلى فى سنه اربع عشر و سبعمائة الهلا ليه
Thanks be to God tor His signs. Prayers and peace/ unto Prophet Muhammad and the caliphs who followed him. The great khan Muhammad Özbeg Khan, may God make eternal his kingdom, commanded during his reign the construction of this blessed masjid. "Abd al-'Aziz b. Ibrähim al-Irbili, God's poor servant and a petitioner in need of His grace and mercy, in the year 714 of the lunar calendar.
