Remarks (General Identification): A pair of coralstone slab grave markers (MAHS-MDV-GDH-VDO-S-004-F-0010) on the island of Gan in Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll. The Arabic inscriptions on the headstone include a basmallah roundel and four rectangular panels of text framed by bands of dentilation and ulhaali kure’hun motifs. The top sections of the stone are heavily eroded, but the bottom two lines of text are clearly legible.
