Antoine Brendlen is a film producer. After graduating in 2009 with a Master’s degree in documentary filmmaking from Lyon 2 University, he gained practical experience in the field, collaborating with various video collectives. Over the past 10 years, he has worked with a wide range of public and private organizations on artistic, institutional, and educational audiovisual projects. Since 2022, he has been teaching audiovisual studies at Lyon 1 University.

As part of the CallFront project, he accompanies researchers directly in the field, traveling to Morocco, Senegal, and China. He films and edits audiovisual content to document the project’s praxis axe, playing a key role in preserving the last remaining calligraphic traditions at the frontiers of the Islamic world.
