Camille Grandpierre is a PhD student in Islamic Art at Sorbonne University and Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (EHESS). Her research, under the supervision of Eloïse Brac de la Perrière (Sorbonne University) and Alexandre Papas (CNRS/EHESS), and titled “The Jalâyirid and Timurid Divans (14th-15th centuries): Textual and Pictorial Dialogues,” explores a little-known aspect of manuscript production in Iran and Central Asia during the late medieval period.

She also holds two master’s degrees in Islamic Art from Sorbonne University (2019) and in Persian language from Inalco (2024). She has taken part in the research program about the painted manuscripts of Kalīla wa Dimna at the Bibliothèque nationale de France led by Eloïse Brac de la Perrière (2016-2018).
