Since 2022, Clémence Piquet-Delabrousse has been preparing a doctoral thesis under the supervision of Anna Caiozzo and co-supervised by Giuseppe Labisi on Sicily under Islamic domination. Entitled “Sicilian splendors: luxury movable artefacts in Sicilian courts from the 8th to the 13th centuries”, with a fellowship from the National Institute of History of Art. She is also participating in an excavation program under the direction of Giuseppe Labisi on Mount Altesina in Sicily after the recent discovery at the site of an Arabic epigraphy.

As part of the CallFront project, Clémence is assisting in the coordination of the project under the supervision of Eloise Brac de la Perrière.
