The website Calligraphies in Arabic Script at the Frontiers of the Islamicate World (CallFront), accessible at https://callfront.inha.fr, is dedicated to the study and documentation of calligraphic styles in Arabic characters from the Iberian Peninsula, the Maghrib, sub-Saharan Africa, Anatolia, the Balkans, India, Southeast Asia, and China.

The CallFront project was led by Éloïse Brac de la Perrière, in collaboration with Maxime Durocher, and supported by the French National Research Agency (ANR-22-CE54-0015), the Institut national d'histoire de l'art (INHA), Sorbonne University, UMR 8167 Orient & Méditerranée, the Observatoire des Patrimoines de Sorbonne Université (OPUS), the Barakat Trust, and the Max van Berchem Foundation.
